Every colour in löyl bloom comes from plants and resin we can name, and every hat's tag lists its own. Here's what's in drop 02.

Moss comes from himalayan rhubarb, turmeric and myrobalan. Lake comes from indigo plants. Ember and flush both come from lac resin, which is made by an insect. So when we talk about the whole range, we say plants and resin.
Alum, a mineral salt, sets every colour. It's the least romantic part of the list, and it's on every tag anyway.

Natural colour softens with heat and time. After a winter on the bench your hat will look a little different from the day it arrived. Keep it out of the sun when it's drying.

Our dye house in Nepal is run by a mother and daughter, Shanti and Sara. The hats are made by hand in the foothills of the Himalayas.
